I am a Neo-Pop textile artist based in Pontorson, Normandy. Since April 2024, I have been creating contemporary textile artworks under the name Le Cerne Noir.
A Journey Through Material, Precision, and Emotion
I have explored diverse professional worlds, from high-end skincare to luxury leather goods. Through these experiences, I developed a deep respect for craftsmanship, an acute attention to detail, and a strong understanding of the relationship between material, emotion, and intention.
Why Was Le Cerne Noir Created?
Over time, I realized that I could not align myself with a system entirely driven by consumption. This logic—pushing for more, ever faster, at the expense of meaning—did not resonate with me.
This is why I felt the need to create a space where imagination is guided not by productivity goals, but by artistic necessity.
An Independent Artistic Project
Today, I dedicate my time and energy to the development of Le Cerne Noir. I work independently, at my own pace, choosing not to separate my life from my artistic practice.
This project represents a place of coherence between what I create, what I believe, and the way I wish to inhabit the world.
Perspectives & collaborations
I now seek to further develop this body of work by deepening and expanding my techniques, exploring new formats, and opening myself to artistic collaborations that challenge me and push me beyond my comfort zone.
You can now discover the artworks.
